- Help parrot caregivers experience the joy of relating to their parrots in a nurturing manner.
- Educate all caregivers about the responsibilities of caring for and maintaining companion parrots.
- Help parrot caregivers understand the prevention of and solution to problem behaviors in their parrots.
- Provide access to the best resources of experts in the field of avian specialties to all of our Companion Parrot Connection members.
- Provide parrot caregivers with timely and accurate information that they need to have in an emergency situation or in regards to legislative issues involving the keeping of parrots.
- Help reduce the need of rescue by educating all bird caregivers and providing continuing support for a positive life with their companion parrots.
The Mission and Purpose of the Nationwide Parrot Place Organization shall be to:
- Ensure exotic birds are raised in an environment, which provide proper care and training.
- Educate Parrot Place Locations and their customers on the responsibilities of caring for and maintaining companion parrots.
- Provide access to the best resources of private breeders, vendors and experts in the field of avian specialties to all of our Parrot Place Locations.
- Provide initial and ongoing educational training to all individuals who wish to establish a Parrot Place Location.
- Reduce the need of rescue by educating our customers and providing continuing support to our customers for the life they own their companion parrots.
